Who We Are ...We hail from Washington, D.C., but represent women from cultures across the african diaspora. Each of us nurtures an interest in cultural exchange, social development, human rights, political awareness and women's upliftment. Each month we gather together to discuss and share our experiences and views that are sparked by the literary works that we read. Our meetings are informal and open. Not only do our meetings provide an outlet for mental stimulation and conscious awareness, but also an oasis for our voices and female kinship that fuels our passions for building up others.
